Melissa Hortman Receives Golden Axe

This morning MPFF President Chris Parsons, Brooklyn Park Firefighters President Mike Christian, and Coon Rapids Firefighters President Pat Metz presented MN House Speaker Melissa Hortman with the Golden Axe for her leadership in passing COVID-19 Workers Compensation Presumption for first-responders and Healthcare workers. In addition to this, Speaker Hortman has been a champion for public safety and those who serve their communities throughout her tenure in the Legislature.
