    • 08/15/2018 - "C" Shift crews responded to the 8900 block of Montegue Terr. for a reported house fire around 1830 hours. Initial Alarm assignment included Chief 1, 2, Battalion Chief 2, Engine 11, 22, 41, and Inspector 1. Battalion Chief 2 noted a column of smoke from the distance and requested a Brooklyn Park All-Call. Battalion 2 and Engine 22 arrived to find a 2 story residence with a working attached garage fire and requested West Metro Fire to be started. Battalion Chief 2 took command. West Metro Captain 5 and Tower 1 responded. Engine 22 made a transitional attack with an inch and three-quarter hand lines to knock the bulk of the fire down. Engine 41 crew made entry into the structure with Engine 22 crew. Crews encountered heavy smoke and increasing heat inside the structure. Engine 31 crew conductred roof operations until West Metro Tower 1 arrived. West Metro Tower 1 set up on the alpha side of the structure and continued roof operations. A second alarm was struck bringing in Brooklyn Center Engine 6, Coon Rapids Engine 1, and Fridley Engine 1 to the scene with Plymouth Lieutenant 31 and Ladder 21 to stand by at our central station. North Memorial Amblance supervisor and an ambulance stood by at the scene. The fire was contained to the garage. Crews conducted overhaul and ventilation for an extensive period of time.     • 08/22/2018 - "A" Shift responded just after 2100 hours to a boat taking in water with 4 occupants aboard on the Mississippi River below the dam. Battalion Chief 1, Engine 22, and Engine 31 responded. Engine 31's crew retrieved Utility 11 with Boat 11 from our East fire station. Crews launched the boat and Engine 22's crew manned Boat 11. Brooklyn Park and Fridley fire coordinated river operations. Fridley fire launched south of highway 694 and was unable to make it upstream due to river conditions. Boat 11 launched at River Park and made it upstream to the incident location, but had difficulties navigating with very shallow and rough water conditions. HCSO arrived and was unable to launch due to the water conditions. Brooklyn Park took River command and Boat 11 reached the occupants who were all safe and uninjured. Boat 11 was able to free the boat and bring all occupants safely to shore. Crews cleared the scene around 2230 hours. North Memorial Ambulance supervisor and an ambulance stood by at the scene.

    • 08/24/2018 - "C" Shift responded to the 7600 block of Hampshire Ave N around 1930 hours for a reported townhouse on fire. Initial Alarm assignment included District Chief 21, Engine 22, 31, and 41 with auto aid from West Metro Captain 21 and Tower 1. Tower 21 responded to the scene on the call back. Crews were updated enroute from police on scene that there was an active fire. Chief 21 arrived to a 2 story townhome with smoke showing from the exterior. Engine 22 and 31 made an interior attack and confined the fire to a single room. Crews knocked down the fire and remained on scene doing overhaul, ventilation, and investigation. North Memorial Ambulance supervisor and an ambulance stood by at the scene.

    • 08/29/2018 - "A" Shift was dispatched to a business fire just after 0100 hours on the 8000 block of 89th Ave N. Initial alarm assignment included Battalion Chief 1, Engine 21, 31, and 41 with auto aid from West Metro Captain 31 and Tower 1. Battalion Chief 1 arrived to a mega sized warehouse with smoke showing from the dock. Battalion Chief 1 raised the alarm level. The second alarm assignment included Brooklyn Center Engine 3, Maple Grove Chief 5 and Engine 31, Plymouth Battalion 3, Lieutenant 13, and Ladder 21, and for Fridley fire to stand by at our central station. Crews encountered heavy smoke conditions in the building with a sprinkler controlled fire. Crews knocked down the rest of the fire and remained on scene until around 0330 hours. North Memorial Ambulance supervisor and an ambulance stood by at the scene.

    • 08/29/2018 - "A" Shift crews were cleaning up after the business fire when they were dispatched via auto-aid to the 5500 block of Marylan Ave N in Crystal for a reported house fire around 0330 hours. Chief 1, Engine 21, and Rescue 41 responded. Crews arrived and assisted with various tasks.

    • 08/31/2018 - "C" Shift crews responded to the 8800 block of 42nd Ave N in New Hope for a 2nd alarm townhouse fire. Battalion Chief 2, Engine 22, and Enigne 31 responded just after 0300 hours. Crews assisted with various tasks on scene and were cleared around 0430 hours.

    • 08/31/2018 - "A" Shift crews responded to the 2300 block of Brookview Drive in Brooklyn Center around 1330 hours on a 2nd alarm assignment for a house fire with a column of smoke noted from miles away. Initial reports stated there were 5 occupants unaccounted for. Battalion Chief 1, Engine 22, and Engine 31 responded and made initial interior attacks as the second in truck. Crews cycled through as a 3rd alarm was called. A modified 4th alarm was called requesting Minneapolis fire with an Engine. Crews remained on scene assisting for an extended period of time. This fire was the 5th structure fire crews have responded to in a week.
