    04/15/2018 - Crews ran 40 calls during the snow storm that brought in roughly 20 inches. The weekend total was almost 100 calls. (Fri-Sun)

    04/27/2018 - "A" Shift crews responded around 1700 hours to the 6100 block of Bryant Ave N in Brooklyn Center for a second alarm house fire. Battalion Chief 1, Engine 31, and Rescue 31 responded.

    05/01/2018 - "B" Shift crews responded around 1100 hours to the 8600 block of 48th Ave N in New Hope on a second alarm house fire. Battalion Chief 3 and Engine 31 responded. Crews provided support as the R.I.T. while suppression operations were underway. Crews cleared the scene around 1230 hours.

    05/11/2018 - "B" Shift crews responded around 0330 hours to a possible garage fire on the 5800 block of 73rd Ave N.
    Initial alarm assignment included: Battalion Chief 3, Engine 22, 31, and 41 with auto aid from West Metro Captain 11 and Tower 1. Updates enroute from PD stated that this was not a garage fire, it was an apartment fire.
    Battalion Chief 3 and Engine 22 arrived to a 3 story apartment building with heavy fire on the Charlie/Delta 2nd and 3rd floor. BC 3 took command. An all call was requested bringing in Chief 2, Battalion Chief 2, and Engine 21 on the call back. Osseo was requested to stand by at station 2. Engine 22 grabbed a water supply and laid a 2 1/2 smooth bore to the Charlie side to knock the bulk of the fire down. Crews transitioned to an interior attack while West Metro Tower 1 set up on the delta side.

    A huge thank you to the Brooklyn Park Police Department for assisting in evacuating residents and to North Memorial Health Ambulance supervisor and ambulances for standing by. There were no reported injuries and all firefighters made it home safe. The cause of the fire is still under investigation and the incident did attract media attention. Thank you to all the mutual aid companies that assisted. Crews cleared the scene just after 0500 hours.

    05/21/2018 - "A" Shift crews were dispatched just after 2300 hours to the 6600 block of Xylon Ave N. BC 1, Engine 11 and 22 responded with auto aid from West Metro Lieutenant 22 and Tower 1. Chief 2 responded on the call back. (Rescue 41 was out on another fire call at the time leaving 4 firefighters and a Battalion Chief responding to the fire initially) Engine 11 had a quick response due to them clearing a call a few blocks away. Engine 11 arrived to a 2 story residence with light smoke throughout the house. Engine 11 found that the home owner had knocked the bulk of the fire down with an extinguisher, but there was still heavy smoke conditions in the basement. Crews conducted overhaul and ventilation and returned to service in under an hour.

    05/25/2018 - "A" Shift crews responded just before 0200 hours to the 9100 block of Barrington Terr for a reported house fire. Initial Alarm assignment included Battalion Chief 1, Engine 11 and 22, and Rescue 41 with auto aid from West Metro Lieutenant 31 and Tower 1. (BC 1, E22, and R41 were on scene of an alarm at the time of the incident)

    "B" Shift crews responded around 1100 hours to the 4900 block of Peony Ln on a 3rd alarm school fire in Plymouth. Battalion Chief 3 and Engine 22 responded. Crews conducted roof operations and cleared the scene around 1330 hours.

    "B" Shift crews were returning to the city when they were paged on via mutual aid to Columbia Heights. Crews responded around 1335 hours to the 3900 block of McKinley St NE for a house fire. Battalion Chief 3 and Engine 22 responded. Crews assisted with extinguishment and overhaul. Crews cleared the scene around 1500 hours.

    "B" Shift crews made it back to the city when they were dispatched to a appliance fire. Battalion Chief 3, Engine 22 and Rescue 41 responded initially to the 3000 block of 80th Ave just before 1600 hours. Battalion Chief 3 arrived to find smoke showing from the exterior alpha, bravo sides. Engine 11 responded upon the update of smoke. Crews made an initial attack on the fire and conducted extensive overhaul/ventilation.

    "B" Shift crews ended the night with a call of reported smoke coming from a window on the 6400 block of Welcome Ave around 2030 hours. Battalion Chief 3, Engine 11, and Engine 22 responded. Engine 11 arrived to a 2 story townhouse with heavy smoke showing from the alpha side and requested to fill out the box along with a Brooklyn Park "all call". Engine 11 and 22 made an interior attack along with a primary search. Rescue 41 responded along with Chief 1. Auto aid was recieved from West Metro Tower 1. Battalion Chief 3 requested a second alarm assignment to be paged. Crews knocked down the fire and started overhaul.

    05/26/2018 - "A" shift responed to the 7600 block of 67th Ave around 1330 hours. Initial alarm assignment included Chief 1, Battalion Chief 1, Engine 11, 22, and 41 with auto aid from West Metro Tower 1. Chief 1 arrived to find smoke showing from the delta side and roof line. Crews made a quick knock of the exterior fire and conducted overhaul. This was the 7th fire in 36 hours that crews responded to.

    05/30/2018 - "A" Shift crews responded via mutual aid to Brooklyn Center for a house fire. Battalion Chief 1, Engine 22, and Engine 31 responded to the 7200 block of Unity around 2330 hours. Crews made an initial attack on the fire and started overhaul. The fire was contained to the bedroom. Crews returned to service around 0200 hours.
