Crews were paged out to a House Fire around 2330 in which CH 2, BC 3, and Engine 21 responded. Rescue 11 and Rescue 31 were both on calls at the time. Crews arrived to find a someone grilling on the deck. As crews cleared, a car fire was paged out in the 7300 block of Aspen. BC 3, Engine 21, and Rescue 31 responded initially. BC 3 arrived in the area to find a fire ball and flames above the building. BC 3 quickly prompted an all call upgrading it to a business fire with auto aid from Plymouth and an Engine from West Metro. BC 3 took command and updated that it was a fleet truck heavily involved in the cargo area in the loading dock. Brooklyn Park CH 2, Rescue 31, Plymouth CH 1, Ladder 21, West Metro CH 5, LT 12, and Engine 11 responded.
E21 started extinguishment with Rescue 31. BP CH 2 was assigned operations. Rescue 11 checked the building for extension and found thick smoke conditions. West Metro teamed up with Rescue 11 for ventilation and a primary search. Crews found a victim that walked out with crews and was assessed by North Memorial Ambulance. Plymouth assessed the condition of the roof and found no extension. Fire was brought under control and crews were released. DFM1 conducted the investigation.
